The book that I’m reading right now is Andrew Carnegie, by David Nasaw, who also wrote the biography about Joseph P. Kennedy, the patriarch of one of the most famed political families in America, which I read a few months back and I really enjoyed it. The biography about Carnegie is VERY interesting and I’m really getting into it as I read it day by day and get a full depthed view on how a young boy from Scotland came to America and become one of the country’s greatest success stories and philanthropists with his creation and ownwership of U.S. Steel, along with Rockerfeller, DuPont, Morgan, Ford, Vanderbuilt, along with the Rothschilds and the Astors.

As I continue on reading the book, there will be other books I’ll be reading about dealing with those who came from the hard scrabble life of their past in order to reach their dreams and make their fortunes through hard work, determination, a little backroom wheeling and dealing and whatever maneuvers that they had to make in order to make America one of the most powerful and industrious countries in the world throughout a period of two centuries and the contributions that are still being carried out to day.
