Today, Monday, May 29th, 2023, we celebrate this Memorial Day in honor of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives and fought for the continued freedom of the American people and the ideas in which the country stands for. The last week of May celebrates the the well-received holiday in America, only second to the Fourth of July (which will be on Tuesday, July 4th of this year) and those who gave their lives for the rights and freedom of American in past conflicts will always be remembered through events like parades, fireworks, concerts with patriotic music, BBQ’s (which are my favorite), and speeches delivered by public officials, politicians, veterans (which reminds me, Veteran’s Day is another holiday we Americans celebrate in November, shortly before Thanksgiving), but this is Memeorial Day that I’m discussing right now so we got plenty of time to talk about those holidays (I’ll discuss those in later blogs). So I say to my fellow Americans please have a happy and safe Memorial Day and keep those who have fallen to protect our freedom on your minds and in your hearts…
