What Is My Favorite Cartoon?

This is an interesting question…what is my favorite cartoon? Now I’ve been watching animated shows when I was little and continued on watching them until I got about 12 to 14 years old cause I was leaving grammar school and getting ready to head to high school so I very much weened away from shows that I considered childish, but I would never call any childhood favorite childish because that’s an attitude that I would see as very much rude and critical, especially if the children of today are watching.

My favorite cartoon was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which came out around the late 80’s (1987) which were based on toys of the same name and would later on become movies in the early 1990’s about four turtles (Leonardo, Donatello, Rachael and Michaelangelo, named after Renaissance artists, respectively) who are exposed to a chemical called retro mutagen, which transform them into human-like heroes who learn the art on ninjitsu under the guide of Splinter, who was a ninja sensei who was himself affected by the chemical that turned him into a rat, but that didn’t stop him or the turtles from stopping crime in New York City and fighting the evil forces of the Foot Clan, lead by Shredder, an avowed enemy of Splinter (when Splinter was human, and STILL was afterward).

I admired the cartoon not because of all the fighting and battles that went on between good and evil, but I loved it because although the turtles and Splinter’s physical features changed, it didn’t stop them from doing the morally right thing of carrying out their “duties” of protecting the less fortunate and innocent from evil and crime-commiting fiends. So yes, the TMNTs was my favorite animated series that I loved and still do to this very day and in their own words I shout COWANUNGA!🤗🤗🤗
